In the heart of Gdańsk, on the historic Long Market Street, our architectural firm had the pleasure of designing a unique, private psychological office. This project is a perfect example of combining functionality and elegance, which is crucial for both patients and therapists. Utilizing the space of a converted attic apartment, we created a place that is both comfortable and conducive to professional therapeutic conversations.
The design of this psychological office is based on a minimalist approach, where warm color palettes and natural materials such as wood dominate. Complemented by modern, custom-made furniture from local Gdańsk workshops, these elements not only emphasize the unique character of the place but also demonstrate our commitment to supporting the local economy. By combining modernity with elements of tradition, we create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
The interior of the office is characterized by an elegant combination of subdued wall colors with dynamic furniture forms and carefully planned lighting. Proper lighting not only enhances the aesthetics of the space but also affects the mood and well-being of its occupants. We use warm tones of light that promote relaxation and concentration, which is extremely important in places where therapeutic sessions take place.
The central room with comfortable sofas and low tables is the heart of the office and is an ideal place for group therapy or individual sessions. Carefully selected accessories and textiles make the interior cozy, which is essential in a therapeutic space. The ergonomics and arrangement of the furniture ensure freedom of movement and a sense of openness, which positively affects the psychological and emotional comfort of clients.
The therapist’s office was designed with maximum functionality in mind. A large desk, open shelves, and built-in wall units not only facilitate work organization but also add a modern character to the interior. Custom bookcases and professional solutions emphasize the professionalism and modernity of the approach to designing workspaces, which is key in building trust in the therapeutic relationship.
On the upper level of the attic, we created an intimate relaxation area, accessible via a designer metal staircase. This is a space where clients can unwind in a more private atmosphere after intense sessions. This place enables regeneration and rest, which is invaluable in psychological work.
The design of the psychological office on Długi Targ Street in Gdańsk is an excellent example of how intelligent and thoughtful interior design can support the healing and therapy process. Thanks to the collaboration with experienced designers from Gdańsk, this space has become an ideal place for conducting therapeutic conversations, ensuring maximum comfort and privacy. Our office is ready to co-create further projects that will serve people and their needs, creating spaces that are not only aesthetically satisfying but also functional and user-friendly. We invite you to cooperate.
