In the Aniołki district of Gdańsk, our interior architect faced the challenge of creating a space that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing in a small apartment. Working on this project allowed us to maximize the available space without sacrificing the open and spacious character of the interior. Through intelligent design, we managed to meet the expectations of a client looking for practical yet stylish solutions for a compact area.
The first impression when entering an apartment plays a crucial role. That’s why the entrance area was carefully planned with attention to details such as mirrors and wooden elements, which introduce warmth and depth to the space. Mirrors serve a dual purpose, visually enlarging the interior and adding elegance. Built-in, discreet cabinets and shelves are not only practical but also aesthetically integrated, providing plenty of storage space. This solution allows the organization of space to be both comfortable and elegant, even in a limited area.
The living room is the heart of the apartment, and the designer ensured it would be a comfortable place to relax after a long day. A cozy corner sofa in neutral colors invites relaxation, while soft fabrics and subtle decorative accents create a sense of peace and harmony. Thanks to the use of a subdued color palette and cozy materials, the living area is exceptionally welcoming and conducive to relaxation. Additionally, the living room flows seamlessly into the dining area, where a round table and stylish chairs create the perfect space for meals and work. This solution allows optimal use of space and supports the apartment’s multifunctional nature.
The kitchen, custom-designed by our architect, is an excellent example of how space can be utilized effectively while maintaining style and convenience. Equipped with modern appliances, it offers ideal conditions for meal preparation, which is especially important in smaller apartments where every square meter matters. The neutral kitchen color scheme, complemented by modern accents and well-thought-out lighting, creates a pleasant atmosphere for everyday culinary tasks. With functional solutions, the kitchen retains elegance and coherence with the rest of the apartment.
Despite the limited area, we managed to create a comfortable bedroom nook that provides privacy and intimacy. By using glass behind the bed, natural light enters this small room, which visually enlarges the space and adds lightness. The bedroom is equipped with practical wardrobes and a mirror with a pouf, giving it a functional yet stylish character. Our goal was to create a space that serves as a place for relaxation while fitting seamlessly with the overall aesthetic of the apartment.
The bathroom design is minimalist with warm, natural accents. Light beige tones combined with wood and terrazzo create a cozy and harmonious atmosphere.
The wall-mounted toilet and built-in niches make the space functional and easy to maintain. The sink area, with a backlit mirror and elegant cabinet, reflects modern trends, while black accents add character.
The entire project exudes calm, with well-chosen materials and lighting that visually enlarge the room, adding lightness and elegance.
